Hebrews 4:12
12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

We see the Words of YAH and the Word(Jesus Christ of Nazareth) BOTH being likened unto of the utmost importance when it comes to keeping oneself from sinning. It is in the Messiah that we witness the FULL obedience to YAH word walked out in one’s life, and it is in the faith of Messiah that we are confessing to look to be obedient as He was. But how does one learn what to be obedient too and what to turn from? By the words of YAH, His Scriptures, this is what is used to renew our mind so that we may walk in a way which is according to His perfect, good and acceptable will.
